Don reported that the memorial committee has expanded the list of those to be remembered by including folks mentioned in the 100-year history book. This will probably add about 25 names, but many of these, such as the members of the first council, will be grouped on one plaque. The committee plans to meet with local manufacturers to discus fabrication of the benches.

The group discussed whether the congregation should sit down and get up again between the offering and the final hymn. The majority appeared to favor the current practice. Marcia will discuss this with the one congregation member who appears to want change.

At the next council meeting Marcia will ask members of the other committees to submit material for display in the welcome booth.

The group discussed several ideas for adding to the “assets" of the local church community.

Stephen reported that he will be on vacation from August 3 to August 15. Kristen Pratt will deliver the sermon on the one Sunday that he is gone.
