Summary: Don Law & Larry Lopp presented the Proposed Memorial Walk Plans. Downstairs Whitiker is fine. Work day Nov. 28th. and still working on the Bathroom heaters. Details Stephen opened the meeting with a prayer at 7:35. The minutes from October were reviewed and approved. Larry said he would place the minutes and meetings on the website before the next meeting. Gerry Alonzo provided the Treasurers Report for October. The shortfall of YTD revenue and expenses have fallen another $2,000 from September with net shortfall still under $500. It is becoming a concern. New Business: Don Law and Larry Lopp presented the Memorial Walk Proposal. They proposed a schedule, which would include a number of work days, starting early next year. The proposal was within budget and well received. Since the cleaning of the rugs downstairs in Whitiker Hall, the smell has dissipated. There was a discussion about installing a swale vs a drain and pipe off the walkway to the front of Whitiker Hall to ensure the water from the parking lot is diverted away from downstairs Whitiker. It was agreed that we would request Ben create a swale when he works on the memorial walk next year. There will be a clean up day after Thanksgiving at 9am on Saturday Nov 28th. Since Advent Sunday will be a week later on Dec. 6th, no trees will be put up. Only cutting trenches to temporarily ensure runoff will be diverted from downstairs Whitiker Hall and the gutters will be cleaned. Stephen also asked that the trustees clean the dried egg of area around the front door of the church. Old Business 1. Tree Trimming: Larry contacted Agricon and Terry contacted Dave tree consultants. Proposals will be presented at the next meeting. 2. Propane Smell: Mike Overson, who had just completed a course of HVAC training inspected the heater, cleaned the jets, determined there were not obstructions and the fittings were correct. The smell appears to go away when the heater is on or off with the pilot light out, or the window is left open. For now we have been turning the heater on when it is cold enough. Further discussion next meeting. Other The meeting was adjourned at 8:45pm.
The next meeting is Thursday 12/3/09 at 7:30pm.
