Fern gave the treasurer's report -- we made $419 on the Spaghetti dinner and now have a healthy fund.

Spaghetti dinner rehash -- A marvelous success. Our objective of getting our community together for a fun evening was met and we made money. Del proposed that we consider purchasing a new cooking pot for the spaghetti as the old one is decrepit. We will consider this. We also need more spoons and forks. Jackie will check out the thrift store in town as they have good merchandise at low cost. It was suggested that we do an inventory of the kitchen to see if other things are needed. This will be discussed at next meeting. Linda was told of our deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for all her work on the dinner and she was given a gift of flowers.

Women's Retreat -- Holy Listening led by Yael, Feb 27th, 9:30 - 3PM $35 pp payable to Fern. Del will bring materials for collage art except for colored markers, Carol will bring some magazines. Everyone attending signed up to bring a breakfast goody.

Garden Tour -- April 22nd, 10 - 2pm, car pool from Mtn Bible then meet at the side parking lot of Los Gatos Post Office. Cost will by $10 pp. Limited to 20 people.

Luncheon in Mtn View -- Date is May 20th. Carol will check out train schedules and routes and she said that Paula will check out restaurants for us. Car pool again from Mtn Bible and meet at the train stn in Campbell.

Nancy Jo told us about the Mission Bd.'s desire to create a "Caring Connection" to provide needed items and services to people in the mountain community who need them. It would provide a contact number for those who need help and connection to those who would provide it. We discussed having blankets on hand at the church as well as coats (held back from Harvest Festival). Nancy will provide further information in the future.

Book for discussion -- We agreed to read "Faith Club" and will meet on the morning of March 18th to discuss. Exact time and location will be discussed at the next meeting.

We decided against Pizza at Nonno's since there is a plan afoot elsewhere within the church for a beach picnic on May 8th at Natural Bridges.
