Action Items from BCS meeting Feb 11, 2010

Michael Mahrle;

Develop a proposal for new directions for the newsletter. If anyone has input before they see my inspired prose, please send it along.

John Wetherill

1. Add Cliff and Christina to bcs@skylandchurch.com alias, and remove retired members (DONE)

2. Setup login info for Cliff, send him welcome emails (DONE)

3. Email Andy about creating me a new partition for skylandchurch.com (DONE)

4. Fix search function so entire site can be searched (newsletters, minutes, etc.)

5. Track and report website usage, specifically newsletter readership

Additional contributions..

A couple of years ago I built a mockup of a much more interesting and dynamic homepage for skylandchurch.com.

It included a "fund raising thermometer", a section called "This Week at Skyland Church", a "Message from Stephen", and "Upcoming Events" section, a STATS section (member stats), and lots more.

Please have a look at it:

John Gaffney

1. Contact Anne Evans to let her know I'm her BCS contact for the sound system work. [DONE]

2. Send collection of FedEx Follies to Christina and Cliff. [DONE]

3. Send latest "how-to" documents to John W. [pending]
